If I were to leave my home for a year, there is one thing I definitely would take with me: my cellphone. With my cell phone, I could call my friends or family if I ever was lonely, needed advice,or just wanted to talk.
If I were away from home for a year, I would be very lonely, especially in the beginning before Imade friends. If I could call my mother and father, I would hear their familiar voices and I wouldnot feel so lonely. Hearing my friends’ voices would also help me overcome my sadness.
I’ve never been on my own so there are many things I am not familiar with. I’ve never opened abank account, got a driver’s license, or made my own food. If I had to cook chicken orsomething, I could call up my mother and she could tell me how to make dinner.
Sometimes, I may just want to talk in my own language. With my cell phone, I could call myfriends and tell them about my new life. This would make them jealous of me. I would call thema lot so they could hear all the wonderful things I am doing.
For me a cell phone is a necessity. I would need it anytime I was lonely, anytime I needed to dosomething I didn’t know how to do, and anytime I just wanted to talk. Of course, the phone billwill be sent to my parents.

Situated in the western outskirts of Haidian District, the Summer Palace is 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) from central Beijing. Having the largest royal park and being well preserved, it was designated, in 1960 by the State Council, as a Key Cultural Relics Protection Site of China. Containing examples of the ancient arts, it also has graceful landscapes and magnificent constructions. The Summer Palace is the archetypal Chinese garden, and is ranked amongst the most noted and classical gardens of the world. In 1998, it was listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO.
Constructed in the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234), during the succeeding reign of feudal emperors; it was extended continuously. By the time of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), it had become a luxurious royal garden providing royal families with rest and entertainment. Originally called 'Qingyi Garden' (Garden of Clear Ripples), it was know as one of the famous 'three hills and five gardens' (Longevity Hill, Jade Spring Mountain, and Fragrant Hill; Garden of Clear Ripples, Garden of Everlasting Spring, Garden of Perfection and Brightness, Garden of Tranquility and Brightness, and Garden of Tranquility and Pleasure). Like most of the gardens of Beijing, it could not elude the rampages of the Anglo-French allied force and was destroyed by fire. In 1888, Empress Dowager Cixi embezzled navy funds to reconstruct it for her own benefit, changing its name to Summer Palace (Yiheyuan). She spent most of her later years there, dealing with state affairs and entertaining. In 1900, it suffered again, being ransacked by the Eight-Power Allied Force. After the success of the 1911 Revolution, it was opened to the public.
Composed mainly of Longevity Hill and Kunming Lake, The Summer Palace occupies an area of 294 hectares (726.5 acres), three quarters of which is water. Guided by nature, artists designed the gardens exquisitely so that visitors would see marvelous views and be amazed by perfect examples of refined craftwork using the finest materials.
Centered on the Tower of Buddhist Incense (Foxiangge) the Summer Palace consists of over 3,000 structures including pavilions, towers, bridges, and corridors. The Summer Palace can be divided into four parts: the court area, front-hill area, front-lake area, and rear-hill and back-lake area.
Front-Hill Area: this area is the most magnificent area in the Summer Palace with the most constructions. Its layout is quite distinctive because of the central axis from the yard of Kunming Lake to the hilltop, on which important buildings are positioned including Gate of Dispelling Clouds, Hall of Dispelling Clouds, Hall of Moral Glory, Tower of Buddhist Incense, the Hall of the Sea of Wisdom, etc.
Rear-Hill and Back-Lake Area: although the constructions are fewer here, it has a unique landscape, with dense green trees, and winding paths. Visitors can feel a rare tranquility, and elegance. This area includes scenic spots such as Kunming Lake and Back Lake , which presents a tranquil beauty, Garden of Harmonious Interest , built by imitating the layout of Southern China’s classical gardens, and Suzhou Market Street, endowed with a strong flavor of the water town Suzhou.
Court Area: this is where Empress Dowager Cixi and Emperor Guangxu met officials, conducted state affairs and rested. Entering the East Palace Gate, visitors may see the main palace buildings: the Hall of Benevolence and Longevity served as the office of the Emperor, the Hall of Jade Ripples where Guangxu lived, the Hall of Joyful Longevity, Cixi's residence, the Garden of Virtue and Harmony where Cixi was entertained, Yiyun House , where once lived the Empress Longyu, and Long Gallery, which measures the longest in Chinese gardens.
Front Lake Area: covering a larger part of the Summer Palace, opens up the vista of the lake. A breeze fluttering, waves gleam and willows kiss the ripples of the vast water. In this comfortable area there are the Eastern Bank and Western Bank, Seventeen-Arch Bridge, Nanhu Island, the largest island in Summer Palace, Bronze Ox, an imposing statue beside the lake, and Marble Boat, built in western style with elaborate decorations . On the western bank float six distinct bridges amongst which the Jade-Belt Bridge is the pretty!

本冊教材是《義務教育課程標準實驗教科書英語(PEP)》是課程教材研究所英語課程教材研究開發中心,與xxx合作編寫的'一套全新的小學英語教材。這套教材是根據教育部制定的《國家英語課程標準》編寫而成的。供小學6年級的學生使用。本冊教材的特點是:1.強調語言運用。2.注重能力培養3.突出興趣激發4.重視雙向交流5.融合學科內容6.重視靈活擴展7.實現整體設計。

開始,我還需要爸爸媽媽提醒我做學習計劃完成學習任務,我有時還會偷個小懶,幾乎都是在媽媽地催促下完成學習內容,每天的學習很被動。
最近開學了我有了翻天覆地的變化。兩周的自我管理使我的學習井井有條。我會根據每周日老師發的大計劃來制定自己的小計劃。每天8:00—9:00我會完成數學和語文的基礎部分,比如數學口算、豎式題,語文的詞語、字帖。9:00我會準時坐在電腦前,準備好學習單,上空中課堂。上完空中課堂后我會認真的寫學習單。大概在中午的時候,媽媽會給我檢查數學語文作業是否全部完成,并為我提交到班級小管家。因為我背英語比較慢,所以我把整個下午的時間都拿來背英語。完成英語以后我和媽媽會下樓鍛煉,鍛煉回來就開始練習半個小時小號。晚飯后是我的閱讀時間,每天堅持看至少半個小時的書,這就是我一天的學習生活安排。
經過兩周的自律學習,我的耳邊少了很多媽媽地催促聲,我的作業質量完成的很高,經常被評為優秀作業。上周梁老師還把我評為自律小榜樣,把自己自律學習生活和同學們分享。看到自己的分享視頻我特別感動,更加激勵我要堅持自律。自律讓我懂得了通過自己來要求自己,變被動為主動,自律真的讓我進步了。

Computers have brought about many changes in our world. With the devek,pment of science and technology, the use of eleclronic computers is growing year by year in various fields of man' s activities. They have been of great help in scietific rescarch and engi neering They can do at a very high speed the calculations too complicated for a man to do in a few days or even in a few years.
Once it is given a plogram, a computer can operate automatically at a high speed. Not only can the computer gather facts.it call aim store them as fast as they are gathered and can pour them our whenever they are needed.
However, computers are not replacing us. Even though computers are taking over some of the tasks their were once accomplished by our own brains, they are nothing but machines. They will never take the place of man.
計算機給我們的世界帶來了許多變化,隨著科學技術的發展,計算機在人類活動的各個領域中的使用年年增長,計算機對科學研究和工程學幫助很大,它們能以很快的速度運算,這些運算很復雜,要用人工運算需要幾天甚至是幾年。
一旦設計出程序,計算機可以以極高的速度自動運算。計算機不但可以搜集資料,而且可以貯存資料,不管什么時候需要這些資料都可以調出來。
但是計算機不會代替人。盡管計算機正在接替一度用我們自己的大腦去完成的工作,但是它們只不過是機器而已,它們決不會代替人。

俗話說,水滴石穿,做什么事都要堅持。而我們這一代卻不知道堅持的可貴。上了初中,短短的七天軍訓就讓我深刻地認識到堅持的可貴。
軍訓第一天,教官讓我們站軍姿,他對我們說:“站軍姿要抬頭挺胸、收腹,眼睛要往正前方看,身體前傾?!蔽乙宦?,怎么這個小小的軍姿都有這么多要領。唉!看來軍訓的滋味不好受啊!我就按照教官對我們說的動作要領,站起軍姿來,剛開始感覺很良好,不一會兒,就感腿有點酸,并且現在正是火熱的時候,太陽火辣辣地將她那“溫暖”的光線射向我們。我身上流出的汗像一只只小蟲子在背上爬,難受極了,可教官不讓我們擦,只好任它在背上爬。不知不覺,過了四十多分鐘,教官終于讓我們原地休息一下。但是還不能蹲下和坐下,這下我才發現我的腿又酸又麻,脖子特別疼,軍訓好累啊!
終于,軍訓的第一天的上午結束了。我又累又餓,并且渾身上下又酸又麻,我特別奇怪,為什么教官不累呢?但很快又忘了這個問題。以后的每一天,教官都會讓我們站軍姿。連我自己都很奇怪,雖然每次都是站軍姿,站得腰酸背痛,但我還是堅持下來了。我現在明白了,原來在我的心中還有堅持的信念,所以我堅持下來了,一天都沒有缺。
軍訓是刻苦的,軍訓是難受的,軍訓是需要堅持的。軍訓雖然很累,但是,軍訓能使我們懂得許多道理,讓我懂得堅強,鍛煉身體,強健體魄;軍訓讓我得到寶貴的財富——堅持。在以后的道路上,不管坎坷還是曲折,我相信我一定能堅持下去。
