The Spring Festival is very important to Chinese people. In the past,people could not often have meat,rice or other delicious food. They could only eat these during the Spring festival. So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now, although people‘s life is much better,and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday,and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. 這兒所說的想象包括聯想，聯想是想象的基礎。黑格爾在他的《美學》中談到：“最杰出的藝術本領就是想象”，可見想象是多么的重要。
聯想和想象不受時間、空間的限制?？梢宰屗季S自由馳騁，縱橫南北，貫穿古今;可以無中生有，補充情節，豐富人物形象，充實內容。有不少優秀的作品就是通過聯想和想象來完成的。如四大名著之一的《西游記》，吳承恩就是憑借豐富的想象，給我們刻畫了富有濃厚神話色彩的傳奇人物;《海底兩萬里》的作者凡爾納沒有到過海底，卻憑借豐富的想象把海底的景色寫得非常生動，使人如臨其境。又如《喜羊羊與灰太狼》《熊出沒》等讓兒童特別喜愛的電視劇，離開了想象，恐怕就成不了電視劇了。
同學們在作文中，展開聯想，由甲事物聯想到乙事物，然后由乙事物聯想到丙事物，再由丙事物聯想到丁事物，……如此聯想下去，會增加很多內容的，再進行想象，對每個事物進行描寫，字數自然多了。如果字數還不夠，再發揮聯想和想象，增加內容，直到字數夠了為止。初中生想象豐富，擅于創新，常常在頭腦中產生一些富有創意的想象，讓人耳目一新。當然，同學們在聯想和想象中，要注意合理性。如果不具有合理性，就是胡思亂想了。

例如寫《愉快的春節》，可以列出這樣的小標題：①年夜飯中的親情，②短信捎來的祝福，③煙花下的驚喜，④紅包里的喜悅，⑤初一郊游的愜意，⑥和父母逛街的幸福，⑦走親戚的愉悅，……每個小標題寫成一個片斷，就算你的寫作水平低，每個片斷100字，沒問題吧，七個片斷該有多少字呢，完成初中作文600字以上這個要求還有困難嗎。而事實上，你把每個片斷的內容講清楚，寫明白，完全可以洋洋灑灑地寫出幾千字的，如若不信，你就試一試吧。
作文寫長點方法三、多角度法
作文寫不長，其中有一個很重要的原因就是寫作角度單一，造成內容單調泛味，刻畫得不豐富，敘述得不完整，論述得不嚴密，字數也就自然不多。寫作文時運用外貌、語言、心理、動作等多種描寫方法，動靜相襯，采用正反角度，調動視覺、聽覺、觸覺、嗅覺等多種感官，遠近變換，移步換景，總分結合，分類介紹，內外相協……作文就會長得很長的。
魯迅的《從百草園到三味書屋》中第二自然段“不必說碧綠的菜畦……色味都比桑椹要好得遠?！弊髡呦葘懓俨輬@的概貌情況，然后再寫泥墻根一帶，這是從整體到局部;這段中寫了動物、植物，由低到高，動靜結合;寫了春、夏、秋的景物，運用觸覺、嗅覺、視覺、聽覺進行描寫;寫了四件趣事，還運用比喻、擬人、排比等修辭手法。僅這段對百草園景致的描寫，就用了三百多字，文章能不長嗎!
同學們在作文中，可以采用“多角度法”來讓作文長長。例如寫《上學路上》，對于路上的小草、草上晶瑩的露珠、空中鳥兒的叫聲、路上的行人、上學的學生、你的心情，可以運用多種感官，遠近結合，高低變換，移步換景，采用修辭手法等。一個角度寫不了多少字，但多用幾個角度，字數就多起來了，要寫到600字也是很容易的。
